Using the same patented ingredient as the OLAPLEX professional system, Bis-Aminopropyl Diglycol Dimaleate, No.4 works by finding single sulfur hydrogen bonds and cross-linking them back together to form disulfide bonds. Disulfide bonds are broken through chemical procedures such as colouring, thermal interference like heat and UV damage, and mechanical processes like brushing and combing.
